Terms of Service
Effective and last updated October 13, 2026.
1. The agreement
These terms are between you and deltaPlus Learning LLC (“deltaPlus,” “we”), a Massachusetts company. They cover the deltaPlus™ SAT® app and the website deltapluslearning.com (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to them. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian should read them with you and agree to your using the Service. Our bootcamps run on their own terms, the bootcamp terms. How we handle information is in the privacy policy.
2. Who may use the Service
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- One account per person. Keep your password to yourself; you’re responsible for what happens under your account.
- Give your real birth year when you sign up.
3. The app, and Apple
The app is free to download. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it on Apple devices you own or control, for your own study. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app.
Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app or its content, and it has no duty to provide maintenance or support for it. Any claim that the app fails to meet a warranty is between you and us. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
4. Plans, practice tests, and purchases
- The Plus and Premium plans are subscriptions bought through the App Store. Each opens every open workbook, with new ones added as they are written, at the limits the app describes for that plan.
- Renewal. The one-month, three-month, and six-month plans renew automatically, for the same length and at the price then current, until you cancel. The one-year plan doesn’t renew: it ends after its year, and you can buy another. Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase and at each renewal.
- Canceling. Cancel in your iPhone’s Settings, under your name, in Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You keep your plan until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- Reminders. Before a three-month or six-month plan renews, we email you a week ahead and again three days ahead.
- Prices are shown in the app before you buy, and they may change. Apple tells you before a higher price applies to your plan.
- Practice tests. Your first official practice test is graded free. Each one after that is a $1.99 purchase that unlocks that test for good, so a retake costs nothing more. The Plus plan adds one official practice test a month; a month’s test does not carry over to the next, and we remind you when a week of the month is left. The Premium plan includes unlimited official practice tests.
- The free trial. You may try the Plus plan free for one day, once: every workbook through its first checkpoint, for 24 hours. When the day ends, access closes, and nothing is charged.
- One account. A purchase unlocks the deltaPlus account that was signed in when you made it.
- Refunds. Purchases in the app are made through Apple, and Apple handles refunds under its own terms, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
5. What the Service contains
The app does not contain College Board’s SAT questions, passages, or answer explanations, and it never will. deltaPlus writes its own practice questions and passages, drafting some with AI tools, and a person at deltaPlus reviews and approves every one. Where a passage quotes a published work, that work is in the public domain in the United States or openly licensed, and it is credited. Beyond deltaPlus’s own material, the app contains only question numbers, internal identifiers, and the structure of each official practice test.
Practice passages may describe invented people, places, and studies; treat them as reading practice, not as a reference source.
We build and check our answer keys carefully, but mistakes can happen. If you find one, tell us and we’ll fix it.
6. No guarantee of results
The Service is a study tool. It can’t promise any score, admission, or scholarship, and only College Board scores the SAT. The analysis the app gives you is our best reading of your results, not a prediction of how you’ll do.
7. Not affiliated with College Board
SAT® is a trademark registered by the College Board, which is not affiliated with, and does not endorse, this product. Bluebook™ is a trademark owned by the College Board, which is not affiliated with, and does not endorse, this product. deltaPlus™ and the dP symbol are trademarks of deltaPlus Learning LLC.
8. Acceptable use
Don’t:
- copy, resell, sublicense, republish, or commercially use the Service or anything we show you in it;
- share your account, or use someone else’s;
- interfere with the Service, overload it, or try to reach parts of it you aren’t meant to;
- copy the app’s code or take it apart, except where the law allows it; or
- use the Service to cheat on any test.
This does not limit any rights you have in public-domain material or material under an open license, such as Creative Commons, which is identified where it appears.
9. Ownership
deltaPlus owns the Service and everything we create for it, apart from public-domain and openly licensed material and other companies’ marks. Your answers and results are yours. You let us store and use them to run and improve the Service, as the privacy policy describes.
10. Links to other places
The Service links to College Board, Apple, Desmos, and others. We don’t control them, and their own terms apply there.
11. Changes to the Service
We keep improving the Service. Workbooks open as they are written, and features may change. We may pause the Service for maintenance, and we’ll keep any pause short.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, deltaPlus will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, or data, arising out of or relating to the Service, including any claim based on a test score, an admissions decision, or a study decision you made using the Service. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or fifty U.S. dollars ($50).
14. Indemnification
You agree to cover deltaPlus against any third-party claim, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, that arises from your misuse of the Service, your breaking section 8, or your violating someone else’s rights. This does not apply to claims arising from our own acts or omissions.
15. Suspension and ending
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Deleting an account doesn’t cancel a plan bought through Apple; cancel it in your iPhone’s Settings.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and any dispute is heard in its state or federal courts. Nothing here takes away a consumer right the law doesn’t let us remove.
17. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, we update this page and its date. If a change is significant, we’ll also say so in the app before it takes effect.
18. Everything else
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them to a successor to the Service. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
